# Build on zkYuga

**zkYuga believes in a collaborative ecosystem where everyone thrives.** Here's how projects benefit within the zkYuga network:

* **Traffic Rewards:** Projects driving network activity are rewarded, fostering a **mutually beneficial growth model**. zkYuga benefits from increased traffic, while projects gain recognition and potential user acquisition.

**Fairness and Transparency:**

* **Meritocratic System:** Success is determined by **merit and value creation**, not preferential access. This ensures a level playing field for all developers to build innovative applications and services.

**Privacy and Compliance:**

* **Privacy-Preserving:** zkYuga prioritizes user privacy while adhering to regulatory guidelines. This fosters an environment where **privacy and compliance can coexist**.

**Sustainability Focus:**

* **Sustainability Incentives:** Projects that contribute to **environmental sustainability goals** can receive **liquidity support**. This aligns rewards with positive social and environmental impact.

**How it Works:**

1. **Transaction Fees:** Projects pay gas fees in $YUGA to conduct transactions on the network.
2. **Network Analysis:** The network captures these fees and **analyzes their origin**, identifying the contributing projects.
3. **Algorithmic Weightage:** Various data points are used by the algorithm to **assign weightage to each project** based on their contribution.
4. **Reward Distribution:** A portion (X%) of the total daily collected rewards are distributed among contributing projects, with **consideration for weightage**.
5. **Eligibility:** Only projects with valid **yugaID** (unique identifier) are eligible for rewards.

This system fosters a **collaborative and sustainable ecosystem** where projects are **incentivized to innovate, contribute to network growth, and prioritize sustainability**.
